Employee Spotlight Interview with Meagan Mason
Describe where you grew up and how it's special to you.
I grew up in Coldwater, MI. It's a small Midwest lake town, my gramma still lives in the house where my mom and her 5 brothers and sisters were raised, and I have a lot of cousins there!
What are some of your favorite ways to spend the weekend?
Anything outdoors- skiing, mountain biking, trail running, Lake MI beaches, and bonfires in the summer.
What's your taste in music like? Do you listen to it while you work?
Sometimes I like to stream 88.9 The Impact- Michigan State still has the best college radio station.
Do you have any special talents or a hobby you'd like to try?
My special talent would be my willingness to try anything- what's the worse thing that can happen...
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation. So much better than flying.
Where would you go on your dream vacation?
I would love to travel to Europe.
Do you have any kids? If so, what's your favorite part about being a parent?
2 kids- 10 yr old boy, 13 yr old girl. Everything about being their parent is the best- except maybe freezing rain on Soccer Saturdays.
Do you have a go-to productivity method?
Research, planning, and metrics.
What do you like most about working at ACP?
I love working with great teams who are committed to continually improving and developing the next leaders as the company continues to grow. The company continues to innovate and invest in the future and I feel fortunate to be part of the growth.
What are you most proud of in your career? What are your future goals?
I'm proud of contributing to the growth at ACP and my goal is to continue to develop as an HR professional.
If you could become an expert on any topic in an instant, what would it be?
Compensation Analysis, it's time-consuming.
